is a JfB event which features talented pre-college aged musicians from the South Central IN area, highlighting and nurturing the next generation in the art of jazz.  Students must be recommended by their music instructor in order to participate in the program. This year, JfB is again including a mentoring program pairing IU students with Future of Jazz pre-college participants in advance of the concert. A guest artist is also invited to both perform with the students, and offer constructive suggestions during pre-concert rehearsals.  This years guest artist is Mr. Ralph Bowen (IU alumnus and New York Saxophonist).
