Where were you when you heard about the events of September 11th? Warner Brothers recording artists The Joshua Redman Quartet were in Bloomington, where they were scheduled to play the first major JfB concert of the season that evening. The concert was inevitably cancelled. We are now pleased to report that we have rescheduled Mr. Redman's appearance in Bloomington for Saturday, February 16th, 8:00 PM, at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre (114 E. Kirkwood Ave.). Doors will open at 7:30. (There will be no opening group.) Tickets are $22 for the general public, $20 for seniors (over 65) and students with ID, and $18 for JfB members. They will be available by January 21st at Pro Winds, TD's CDs, and Bloomingfoods, and (until Feb. 9th) on our website at www.jazzfrom bloomington.org (there is a $2 service charge for online sales). Tickets the day of the show (add $3) will be available at the door, beginning at 7:00. Tickets for the original concert will be honored at this rescheduled event. (If you are still holding tickets for the original concert and wish a refund, see page 3.) For the current tour, Mr. Redman has reconfigured his band as a trio: Redman (saxophone), Sam Yahel

The clinic is free and open to the public. For more information about the clinic, contact Pat Harbison (pharbison@indiana.edu).
